Liberal Hysteria over Trump and his temporary travel moratorium

I feel the need to address this because there’s a lot of misinformation being propagated without actually reading the executive order. This is not a Muslim ban. It’s not even a ban. It’s a temporary moratorium on people coming in from several countries as recommended during the Obama administration. The only country mentioned in Trump’s order is Syria. The Department of Homeland Security cited the countries mentioned as countries of concern over the last few years. Continuing the Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015, it added Yemen, Somalia, and Libya, limiting Visa Waiver Program travel for certain individuals who have traveled to these countries. Now I want to address the argument for allowing migrants coming from Syria, mainly that these are like the Jewish refugees in the 1930’s. Muslims are not facing genocide like the Jews were. In fact, the people who are facing extermination in the region are Christians, Yazidis and other religious minorities. These get little to no mention in the mainstream media nor is the Left protesting for their human rights. These are the people we should take in first if any. Furthermore, Jews had nowhere to go. There were no Jewish States to take in refugees and Palestine was still under British Mandate. According to UNHCR, there were no refugee camps in 1934 unlike Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon housing over 4 million refugees from Syria and Iraq today. There are many more Arab states that are better suited and capable of taking in refugees but are doing little to nothing. Why don’t we hold them to the same expectations? If families are in refugee camps in Turkey, they are no longer fleeing danger. They no longer need to come here or any other Western nation. 

Obviously, we have a rich tradition of helping the poor and receiving those who want the freedoms we have--it comes from our Judeo-Christian ethic. But nowhere are we mandated to take in anyone and everyone. There are reasonable questions to ask. For example: What are the short and long term financial and social costs associated with taking in a large number of people from these regions? What is the result of bringing in a religious culture that practices gender segregation, polygamy, not to mention may be sympathetic to terror organizations? Believes a woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man’s? That gays should be killed? That violent jihad is justified? That harbor antisemitic views? These views are contrary to our American values and yet has been largely ignored by the mainstream media, academia and politicians. There have been polls taken on Muslim opinion by Pew Research, BBC, World Public Opinion, ICM Polls, Palestinian Center for Political Research, and others (Here’s a list of polls taken). But we can just look to Germany, Sweden, UK, Norway, Belgium, or France to see the result of such migration. Mass sexual assault of European women. Sex grooming of young British girls. “No Go” zones where not even police and ambulances can enter. Increasing number of terrorist attacks. Which brings me to the subject of Islamic terrorism. Every time a Muslim enters a scene screaming “allah hu akbar” and murdering people, the talking heads do mental gymnastics to avoid the obvious. Why aren’t we allowed to ask questions and take precautions? Are we to just accept occasional bloodshed for fear of offending Muslims? The reality is that there is a problem with Islamic terrorism and it has everything to do with Islam. I thought the same as you several years ago until I started examining Islam--a set of beliefs--not a race. I am a product of liberal indoctrination at college and my eyes were opened to Islamic history, theology and aims as stated from it’s doctrine and the mouths of clerics. Because of this, I have strong reservations about bringing them here. I encourage you to read the Quran for yourself, to examine the evidence I’ve given here and not just go with an emotional response. 

You will know them by their fruits: Islam and terrorism

I was in college during the WTC bombings but never thought to link Terrorism and Islam. For one thing, I knew nothing about Islam and second, I firmly believed that a religious group shouldn't be ostracized for the bad actions of a few. I also remember getting upset when someone showed me a book by Bridget Gabriel, speaking on the ills of Islam from her conquered country of Lebanon. I refused to listen to anyone criticize any group of persons. To me, this was discriminatory and led to widespread ills such as anti-semitism.

In 2009, I read the book "Son of Hamas" by Mossab Hassan Yusef and it was eye opening on the history of Hamas and the Palestinian intifadas of the 80's and 90's. It was my first time reading from someone Arab and Muslim and I realized there was more I and many Americans needed to understand about how Muslims feel about this country. Furthermore, I realized that their feelings were not only political, but stemmed from their religious beliefs.

Over the past 10 years, this country has seen a sharp increase of Islamic terror plots. Not just from Muslims of other countries, but from American Muslims. I've seen movements against the American government, but never such a consistent, vehement opposition to this country that it mandated violence. I felt it was necessary to look at Islamic texts for their claims to God and why the prevalence of terrorism.

Muslim persecution of Christians have also led me to question why there is no international response. Haven't we learned anything from history? The holocaust in Rwanda? Europe? How long will we turn our head for the sake of political correctness? Muslims say that there is a "Palestinian holocaust" but their sole existence in that region is to expell the Jews. The rebirth of Israel as a nation did not spark animosity amongst Muslims--it is rooted in their Qur'an and the example of their self proclaimed prophet. What the Quran says about non-muslims

Qur'an 9:29: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Qur’an 9:73—O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them.

Qur’an 9:111—Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain.

Qur’an 9:123—O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.

Qur’an 48:29—Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.

The Hadith

The Hadith is a collection of sayings of the prophet Muhammad heard by his closest companions and his wives. It gives clarity to many Quranic verses as well as a historical account to what the prophet did. Here's what the hadith says about Muslims and their relationship to non-Muslims:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume1, Book 2, Number 25 Narrated Ibn 'Umar:Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform all that, then they save their lives and property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."

Sahih Muslim. Book 031, Number 5917 ...Ali went a bit and then halted and did not look about and then said in a loud voice: Allah's Messenger, on what issue should I fight with the people? Thereupon he (the Prophet) said: Fight with them until they bear testimony to the fact that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger, and when they do that then their blood and their riches are inviolable from your hands but what is justified by law and their reckoning is with Allah.

Sahih al-Bukhari 2785—Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man came to Allah’s Messenger and said, “Guide me to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward).” He replied, “I do not find such a deed.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2796—Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all the world and whatever is in it.”

Now I understand that all sorts of people do heinous acts. In fact, we all have thought evil towards others. But when there is a disproportionate number of particular acts by a particular group of people, we need to figure out what is that correlation (a mutual relationship or connection between two or more things). Is Islam a religion of peace? To arrive at a most objective, definitive answer, simply look at Islamic countries. Is there peace? No. Is there freedom of religion? No. Even countries claiming to be "secular," like Turkey, persecute Christians because it's a Muslim majority nation. Saudi Arabia doesn't permit the building of churches but they fund the building of mosques in this country! People in Islamic countries want to come here to the west where there is more freedom and economic opportunity. Then, they demand Shariah (Islamic) law to incorporate their religion into public policy, even though it runs contrary to much of our laws. Then they demand that non-Muslims comply with their Islamic laws wether we like it or not. As the muslim population increases, the Muslim community becomes more bold in it's demands and even violent. We are already terrorized into complacency and numbed by the desire to be "diverse". Amazingly, we have been kept in the dark about what Islam is and how it effects it's adherents. This is not an irrational fear, we can see how this has played out in places like Britain and Beligum, Denmark and other parts of Europe. Slowly, there are those in the live-and-let-live camp that are seeing this, and I hope you see it too.

what about the peaceful verses Muslims give me? Like 2:256 (no compulsion in religion or surah 109:6)?

It was important for me to understand the historical context of these writings so I looked at the biography of Islam's prophet and how he was given these revelations.

Muhammed was born 570 AD in Medina. At a young age, his mother died and was then raised by his uncle Abu Talib. He lived as a merchant and shepherd and married his first wife Khadijah in 595. At the age of 40, he retreated to a cave to meditate where he claims the angel Gabriel forced him to recite the words of Allah. These revelations, occuring over a period of 23 years, became known as the Qu'ran, meaning "recitation."

Since Muhammad was just starting his brand of monotheism, he needed the approval of surrounding people. The initial "revelations" were tolerant to the Jewish and Christian sects in the area. Once Muhammad gained enough followers to wield power, he received revelations that gave a very different message. For his followers to accept the conflicting revelations, the doctrine of abrogation was introduced:

Qur’an 2:106—Whatever verse we shall abrogate, or cause [thee] to forget, we will bring a better than it, or one like unto it. Dost thou not know that God is almighty?

Qur’an 16:101—When We substitute one revelation for another—and God knows best what He reveals (in stages)—they say, “Thou art but a forger”: but most of them understand not.

According to Muhammad's Qur'an, the latest revelations, cancel out the previous ones. Muslims in the West will point out previous peaceful verses of the Quran to gain our sympathies. But clearly, Muslims act according to the later verses.

Another tactic that is important to understand in Islam, is Taqiya. Muhammad's followers were allowed to deny their faith or lie about their intentions when in a disadvantaged position:

Qur'an 3:28 Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. Unto Allah is the journeying.

Muhammad's companions also expound on this doctrine:

Tafsir Jalalalyn: Let not the believers take the disbelievers as patrons, rather than, that is, instead of, the believers — for whoever does that, that is, [whoever] takes them as patrons, does not belong to, the religion of, God in anyway — unless you protect yourselves against them, as a safeguard (tuqātan, ‘as a safeguard’, is the verbal noun from taqiyyatan), that is to say, [unless] you fear something, in which case you may show patronage to them through words, but not in your hearts: this was before the hegemony of Islam and [the dispensation] applies to any individual residing in a land with no say in it. God warns you, He instills fear in you, of His Self, [warning] that He may be wrathful with you if you take them as patrons; and to God is the journey’s end, the return, and He will requite you.

What about the Crusades and the Inquisition? Isn't Christianity just as violent?
Does the Crusades give Muslims the right to commit injustices against Christians, Jews, apostates and women? Many Muslims throw this rationale out to divert from the real issue of today. The Crusades and the Inquisition were waged not by the Church of Jesus Christ, but by the Church of Rome. The emperor, Constantine created the Church of Rome (the Catholic Church) with traditions of Roman deities. They added doctrines not given in the Bible, and even persecuted Bible believing Christians like the Waldenses and the Lollards.

There are violent passages in the Bible. But just as it is important to understand the chronology of revelations in the Qu'ran, it is important to understand the different covenants (agreements) in the Bible. God used Israel to judge nations and nations to judge Israel. God also made sure to preserve Israel who would usher in the Messiah (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 53:5-6, Daniel 9:27). This Messiah (Jesus) would provide salvation not only for Israel but the whole world (Luke 4:25-27, John 10:16, John 4:22-23). Jesus is the fulffillment of the Mosaic Law, commanding his disciples to love one another as he loved them, even their enemies (Matthew 5:17; 5:38-39; 5:44, John 13:34, Romans 13:8, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 John 3:11...). Jesus makes it clear that his disciples should not be violent. Anyone who claims to be a Christian and commits violence in the name of Jesus is not following the teachings of Jesus. A picture of the true Christian Church is found in the book of Acts. A history of those following the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the centuries is The Pilgrim Church by E.H. Broadbent.

Do I hate Muslims? No. My objective is to critically look at Islam in light of it's own doctrines, what has historically occured and what is occuring now. These are pressing issues that I think need to be addressed.

What can we do?

I think the most important step is to inform yourself. Read the Qu'ran for yourself. Resources from middle eastern authors are great. I recommend "Who is this Allah?" by G.J.O Moshay and "Islam and Terrorism" by Mark Gabriel. Write your elected officials and UN Ambassadors to address injustices against religious minorities and women. Support American Laws for American Courts (ALAC). This is to keep any international law contrary to the American Constitution from being intergrated into public policy here. Understand Sharia (Islamic) law and how it affects it's adherents. The more closely Muslims follow Islamic law, the more likely they are to support/commit Islamic terrorism. Read Islamic texts on Sharia and learn more here.

As Christians, we need to pray for the leaders of this country to open their eyes regarding Islamic terrorism. Most of all, pray for the Muslims here to find true salvation that only comes through Jesus Christ. Now is the time for the Body of Christ to pray fervently for lost souls and reach out with the love of Christ. Be salt and light! (mark 9:50, Ephesians 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:5). Prayerfully seek opportunities to witness to others what Jesus has done in your life! Hand out tracts or small New Testaments.

The Good News

The Good news is that God is in control and his word is being fulfilled. Many Muslims are coming to faith in Jesus through visions and dreams. This is why persecution is getting worse. Satan knows his time is short and he tries to use physical terrorism to shake people's faith. Jesus has has warned us of this persecution (Matthew 5:10-12, Luke 21:12, John 15:20) but we need to pray and support our bretheren (Hebrews 13:3). Jerusalem is a burdensome stone in which all nations that come against her will be destroyed (Zechariah 12:3;9, Psalm 83). If this is on the horizon, the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ is much closer!

The Word of the Lord stands forever

Everything is falling into place according to the scriptures. For us in Christ, it doesn't happen fast enough, but it is happening. In light of what's happening in Egypt is just another testament to God's fulfillment to His Word in Isaiah 19

It is clear that Egypt has been unhappy with their leadership because of his alliance with the U.S. and Israel. They are very vocal with English media about it. They are also vocal of what they want to do once they are free: Destroy Israel. Since the very beginning of Satan's fall from heaven, his goal has been to take as many of God's creations with him to Hell as possible, especially, God's chosen people Israel. The messiah was prophesied in Bethlehem, King Herod had all males killed born the same time as Jesus was (Matthew 2:16) Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of a prominent Hamas leader in Ramalah, said it well when he said,

"Generation after generation dreams the same dream: drive out the Israelis, kill the Israelis, destroy Israel. We cannot see beyond our borders because we are blinded by our pain and hatred." Later he says, "When will we begin fighting with our brains instead of our bombs? With reason instead of retaliation? Even a two-year-old child can destroy. Only men and women of wisdom, vision and courage can build a nation."

Islamists here in America are not much different. Just listen to their speech. The groups Revolution Muslim and Islamic Thinkers Society are home grown and ready to commit their lives to JIHAD. And yet, our country is still so delusional that Islam is a religion of peace that it even courts it as our first line of defense! I was shocked to see that the same man spouting hatred in Times Square was recently standing in my room, in a guise to reconcile my brother and I, but really there just to proselytize Islam. So "peaceful" for a second there, but I quickly unraveled his sheep's clothing and told him to leave.

Satan comes to kill, rob and destroy. He is a liar and the father of it! "Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)

Satan knows his time is almost up. That's why persecution is high. We know in Indonesia, the Ahmadiyaans are being persecuted. The Christians are also being persecuted hardcore here and need prayer. It won't be long now. Hold fast to what is good brothers and sisters! Be encouraged! 1 Peter 1:6-7 Heck, keep reading that chapter, it is a wealth of encouragement!

Response to "Burn the Quran Day"

Much controversy has circled this upcoming event which I hope doesn't happen. For one, it is not in the spirit of Christ. Pastor Terry Jones is working off of nationalism and not scripture. Jesus says to love our enemies and to spread the gospel. If anything, it showed the true feeling of many muslim countries that they wish "death to America."

One, there is nothing in the Quran that denies the truth of the gospel. If Allah has revealed the scriptures and guarded them (Surah 5:9), how could have the Christians corrupted it? Then you make your God to be a liar. The Quran is not our enemy, we can use it to point our muslim friends to the truth of the one true God of Abraham who's name is YHWH, not Allah.

Pray for Israel as Iran has used this as an opportunity to become more virulent toward "their annihilation." Pray for Christians in Muslim countries who will be persecuted even more because of this. Pray for Muslims to experience the love of Jesus in spite of everything and gain salvation. Pray for this country. God hears!

Reasons to Celebrate!

the Lord has been faithful these past few weeks for several reasons. One, is that I achieved a major goal in obtaining the vitaglide for Beth Abraham residents. There was a lot of opposition at first, but with the support of NYCSCIA, Wheels of progress, my mother, and the new admin, the vitaglide was a success and I hope more residents take advantage of it. Pictures coming soon!

Second, I completed an online course for writing grant proposals, a great sequence after the vitaglide proposal. It was a great introduction into the world of non-profits as well as getting my feet wet for school! Grant writing takes -A LOT- of research, networking, and writing skills that I plan on honing in on before going to the next level. The professor was great and I recommend it for anyone serious about starting a grant writing project.

The Lord has kept me strong in the face of adversity and spiritual warfare. I thank him for preserving me and my father, and my mother. I thank him for keeping my brother safe in Florida. Please pray for him as well and that the Lord bring true peace in his life. I thank him for the work being done in Calvary Chapel of Agape. The love and fellowship there is a true blessing! Not only that but God is moving us in ways that are nothing short of biblical! To serve, to love, to share the gospel--that is what God wants! for Jew, for Gentile, muslims, for all nations, because that is His plan to reconcile us to Himself because HE LOVES US!

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises [made] unto the fathers:

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for [his] mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. [2 sam 22:50; psalm 18:49]

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. [from Isaiah 11:1]

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. -Romans 15: 8-13

Now that root of Jesse was Jesus. He was the one prophesied to be birthed in Bethlehem, born from a virgin, pierced and killed for others' iniquities. A common dart thrown is that the Bible, is "also violent." In which a slew of Old testament examples come out. God is Holy. God is righteous. And there were times where Israel needed to be rebuked and other time where Israel needed to be protected because that was where the Messiah was to be born. The example for Christians is Jesus. Jesus was righteous in His judgement:

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. -Isaiah 11:4

Once again, it's important to look at who our example is. Jesus is our example and he commands us to love. In Matthew 10:34, Jesus says, we might need to follow Him over family, therefore, bringing hostility to our household. But God turns all things to good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

The next step is to finally finish my B.A. and continue surviving in Beth Abraham as long as I have to. I have been blessed to be able to minister to others and keep positive despite daily pain and anguish living in a chair and being limited in a nursing home.

On November 9, 1938, a massive nation-wide anti-Jewish pogrom took place during peacetime across the entire territory of the Third Reich.

The pretext for this orgy of violence against German Jews was the shooting in Paris two days earlier of German diplomat Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Grynszpan, a 17-year-old Polish-Jewish refugee.

The state-organized pogrom, instigated by Hitler and Joseph Goebbels, resulted in the burning or damaging of more than a thousand synagogues; the ransacking of about 7,500 businesses, the murder of at least 91 Jews, and the deportation of another 30,000 Jewish males to concentration camps in Dachau, Buchenwald, and Sachsenhausen.

This murderous onslaught against German Jewry, cynically described by the Nazis as the "Night of Broken Glass" (Kristallnacht), was a major turning point on the road to the Final Solution of the so-called Jewish Question.

It signified that the Nazi regime had crossed a Rubicon and would no longer be deterred by Western public opinion in its "war against the Jews."

The economic expropriation of German Jewry, its complete social ostracism and public humiliation swiftly followed. Jews were banned from public transport, from frequenting concerts, theaters, cinemas, commercial centers, beaches, or using public benches.

Only a fortnight after "Crystal Night," the SS journal, Das Schwarze Korps, chillingly prophesied the final end of German Jewry through "fire and sword" and its imminent complete annihilation.

Today, shocking to relate, the specter of such apocalyptic anti-Semitism has returned to haunt Europe and other continents, while often assuming radically new forms.

In the Middle East, it has taken on a particularly dangerous, toxic and potentially genocidal aura of hatred, closely linked to the "mission" of holy war or jihad against the West and the Jews.

Islamist anti-Semitism is thoroughly soaked in many of the most inflammatory themes that initially made possible the atrocities of Crystal Night and its horrific aftermath during the Holocaust.

For example, the pervasive use of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion with its perennial theme of the "Jewish conspiracy for world domination;" or the medieval blood-libel imported to the Muslim world from Christian Europe; or the vile stereotypical image of the Jews as a treacherous, rapacious, and bloodthirsty people engaged in a ceaseless plotting to undermine the world of Islam.

To these grotesque inventions one must add such more up-to-date libels like Holocaust denial which has become a state-sponsored project in Ahmadinejad's Iran and is increasingly pervasive in the Arab world.

Equally fashionable (and increasingly popular in Europe) is the slanderous identification of Israel with Nazism or the "ethnic cleansing" of the Palestinians. This modernized version of inverted anti-Semitism which sails under the mask of "anti-Zionism" and anti-Americanism, is today a global phenomenon, but it has special resonance in the Middle East as a result of the unresolved "Palestinian question."

The scale and extremism of the literature and commentary available in Arab or Muslim newspapers, journals, magazines, caricatures, on Islamist websites, on the Middle Eastern radio and TV news, in documentaries, films, and educational materials, is comparable only to that of Nazi Germany at its worst.

Yet the Western world largely turns a blind eye to the likely genocidal consequences of such a culture of hatred, much as it did 70 years ago. My own extensive research into this phenomenon has, unfortunately, convinced me that the Holocaust did not truly succeed in neutralizing the scourge of anti-Semitism.

In a sinister and sometimes devious manner, the widespread defamation and demonization of Israel has in effect revived fantasies of completing the murderous work of the Third Reich. This is especially palpable in the case of Iran. Hence, the anniversary of Crystal Night raises two fundamental moral questions for the future of human civilization. Are we at all capable of learning from history, and will the Jewish people once again have to stand alone in the face of concrete threats to annihilate it? On the answer to these questions much may depend.

Review: God's war on terror

I didn't get to share my thoughts on Walid Shoebat's book "God's war on Terror." Very biblically sound, Walid Shoebat and Joel Richardson draw striking similarities between Allah and Satan using descriptions from both the Qu'ran and the Bible. Here are some examples:

The largest one is that Islam denies the trinity and the deity of Jesus. In fact, until I started learning about Islam, I didn't realize how much Islam and Christianity are polar opposites although they share much history through the Bible. Islam denies every major tenet of Christianity: the deity of Jesus Christ, the Cross, and the trinity. "They blaspheme who say Allah is one of three." (Qur'an 5:73)

However, in the Old Testament, the prophets speak of all three deities: "Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there [am] I: and now the Lord GOD (the father), and his Spirit (the Holy Spirit), hath sent me" (the son).-Isaiah 48:16

Shoebat beautifully laid that one out for me but in the first three verses of Genesis, Father God creates (In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth), Holy Spirit moves with Him (And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep.the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters) and the son, who is also God, speaks into creation (And God said, Let there be light: and there was light). This ties into John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

In his book, The beginning of the world, Creationist Henry Morris makes talks about the triune nature of God being the very foundation of our universe:

The doctrine of the trinity is not explicitly formulated in these first two verses, but it is clearly consistent with them. The New Testament speaks of God, Son, and Holy Spirit, each distinct and yet each equally and eternally the One God of creation. The Father; through through the son, as the incarnate Word, reveals the Father; the Spirit proceeds from the Father through the Son to make applicable and effectual the will of God in His creation. Thus, the spirit was "moving" in creation. Motion implies energy, resulting in the various physical phenomena of the creation. This is the essence of what scientists mean by matter, the phenomena associated with which always involve motion, through space, in time. The universe created is thus a space/matter/time "continuum." Space is the ever-present background within which everywhere occur material phenomena--matter--the manifestation and application of which everywhere involve time. Thus, the created physical universe is really a triuniverse, perhaps reflecting the nature of its triune creator. (Morris, pg.17)

Christian apologist Nabeel Qureshi, converted from Islam, also has a similar stance on the trinity. It's too long for me to quote, but it's worth reading.

Back to Shoebat's book, both satan and Allah are described as "beings of light." The Bible describes Lucifer as a lamp in Rev 8:10 which is what the Qur'an describes Allah as-- "a lamp." When reading this comparison, I was floored:

This "lightning bolt" described by Mohammed is described by Jesus: "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven" (Luke 10:18)...The Bible warns us regarding the manner in which satan disguises himself as "an angel of light." (2 Corinthians 11:14). John as well describes him: "I saw a star fall from heaven to the Earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit" (Revelation 9:1). This "star" is referred to as "him," a person and not and actual star. The Qur'an even calls Allah "The Lord of Star of Sirius" (Qur'an, chapter of the star 53:49)

Both desire world denomination...look at Rev 13:7

I recently read son of hamas and it was eye opening into what Islam really is. I urge everyone, Christian, Muslim, Atheist to read it. It also opens the reader up to what really has been happening in the Middle East for the past few decades and what is to come. Both practice beheading.

Again, until I started reading about what is currently happening to Christians in other countries, I didn't realize how close Christ's coming is, how true His word is presently. Christians have been persecuted, are persecuted, and will continue to be persecuted. The link Shoebat makes between satan and Allah is both practice beheading. Revelations 20:4 reminds us of what we might face for the sake of the gospel:

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Shoebat points out that only in Islam beheading is practiced according to doctrine and imbedded in the youth so that graffiti is written "We knock on the gates of heaven with the skulls of Jews." Muhammed had gelling with this for quite some time. During the battle of Badr, Muhammed was thrilled with beheading and upped the an-tee in the Jewish village ofQurayzah.

These things are going on today. Shoebat notes Jewish-American Nicholas Berg, who was abducted and beheaded in 2004 and reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002 by Islamic militants. Many people in Sudan, Ethiopia, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and others are being tortured and killed unless they confess Allah as their Lord.

Here in America, The Cordoba Initiative, named after an area of Spain taken over by jihad, plans to build a mosque 600ft near ground zero. The link explains backdrop for the implications and Walid explains what Imam faisal abdul Rauf really plans to use this space:

There's controversy on Shoebat's validity and intentions but I find most of his book spot on and he is doing much more than griping and theologizing in a forum. He's informing the public about what muslim organizations in arabic and others are starting to speak out as well. Christians are called to love their enemies. It is not in our doctrine to take vengeance. That is the Lord's. The most important thing is whether or not you have Jesus or not. Because he is in control, I don't worry about a thing. I'm just doing his work to speak the truth. Islam is not peaceful and if you really want to talk to seek truth, pray. Don't come here just to debate. You want to know why there's an oil spill? Because the U.S. turned their backs on Israel and we're too blind to see it. All these tornadoes and storms are gonna keep coming. You see. But Jesus is in control and I'm ready to go with him. Everything that is in the Bible has come to pass. He is coming soon.

Son of Hamas

I downloaded the ebook, "Son of Hamas" by Mosab Hassan Yousef and it is an eye opening testimony to God's truth and mercy and prophecy regarding Israel and Palestine. Born in Israel occupancy, Mosab grew up as a devout Muslim whose father was involved with Hamas. Hamas is an Islamic organization that fights for palestinian freedom from Israeli occupancy. They are religious zealots that view the land as belonging to Allah and that it is their duty to vanquish the Israelis according to the Qur'an. Initially when I saw this story on youtube, many muslims were offended and said muslims were not like that. I was intrigued and had to look further into it and sure enough, in his book, Mosab describes his father has being a loving, compassionate man, incapable of committing terrorist acts:

"Once," he answered, "I left the house and there was an insect outside. I thought twice about whether to kill it or not. And I could it." That indirect answer was his his way of saying that he could never personally participate in that kind of wanton killing. But the Israeli civilians were not insects. No, my father did not build the bombs, strap them onto the bombers, or select the targets. But years later I would think of my father's answer when I encountered a Christian Bible that describes a young innocent named Stephen. It said, "Saul was there, giving approval to his death" (Acts 8:1) I loved my father so deeply, and I admired so much about who he was and what he stood for. But for a man who could not bring himself to harm an insecct, he had obviously found a way to rationalize the idea that it was fine for somebody else to explode people into scraps of meat, as long as he didn't personally bloody his hands. This really put things in perspective for me. Sure there are peaceful muslims who give and are kind. And there are Jews of the like and Christians. What makes one "true" ? Can we rely on evidence? Yes The Lord says we should love him with all our heart, soul and mind (Matt 22:37) and although we cannot transmit faith, we can see evidence and Mosab presents it well.

If you don't know Jesus, I'm praying for you. It's not easy finding Jesus. Often times, we're so busy being prideful, doing our own thing that He needs to break us to get our attention and then we need to depend on Him to get us through. It is those times we grow close to the Lord.
